A little about me

Well, it all started on March 16, 1979 in a small town in Upstate New York…….okay, maybe I won’t go back that far. I went to college at Northeastern University and graduated with a degree in Sociology and Cinema Studies in 2002. After graduating, I joined the Boston-based high tech law firm of Gesmer Updegrove LLP as their webmaster.

Over the years at the firm, I started getting excited about blogging and new media marketing, and launched my own blog, lawfirmblogging.com. With that blog, I was able to share ideas, build a community, and learn more about marketing within the legal community.

I dove head-first into blogging and social media, sold lawfirmblogging.com and made the change to the startup world, joining matchmine in April of 2007. Working at a startup was the most exciting thing possible for me. Late nights, crazy lists of work to do, and a passionate group of dedicated people working toward a shared goal resulted in the perfect job for me.

Well, in October of 2008, matchmine closed its doors, and I opened mine. I consulted for a bit until I joined Waltham-based startup Aprigo in March of 2009.
