Sadly the term "free" is killing the growth of free/open source software,A common apprehension is that free software are not well supported. Packaging it with support service is more important.
few suggestion.
1.add it to wikipedia under the the File Management Category, trust me the tool search starts here :-)
2.Have comparison charts on net, when people have options in free software ,they need a brainfeeding about which one is better.
3. Have low bandwidth demo available on net
4. Sale solutions along with services
Regards

Hey!
Not a bad idea as long as I'm not the one that has to dress up! I think the branded throwing star idea is awesome. I love it.

How are you not playing up the name? I'd be creating branded ninja throwing stars (cardboard or card stock) and giving them out at IT events.

Heck, I'd be going to a conference DRESSED as a ninja and doing that.

Natalie- Thanks. the software is free, so we're giving it away to anyone. We've been encouraging our users to spread the word, but I think you're right...we need to do more to get people to tell others. DM me at @nathanwburke with your email address and I'll send you a wave invite.

A good idea would be to promote this application would be to give free try outs to start-up companies or small businesses. The best advertising I've found has been by word of mouth. Give out 20-30 copies to some local or national businesses, with an agreement that if they like the application, they will forward your information on to at least 5-10 other local companies or business partners.
